Hannibal + Supernatural Crossover: Will Graham’s hallucinations have roots of a different nature.

tw characters as characters of greek mythology; lydia martin as persephone
“In Greek mythology, Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and the harvest-goddess Demeter, and queen of the underworld. Homer describes her as the formidable, venerable majestic queen of the shades, who carries into effect the curses of men upon the souls of the dead. Persephone was abducted by Hades, the god-king of the underworld” (x)

tw characters as characters of greek mythology; peter hale as hades
“In Greek mythology, Hades (the “unseen”), the god of the underworld, was a son of the Titans, Cronus and Rhea. Hades obtained his wife and queen, Persephone, through trickery and violent abduction. Persephone did not submit to Hades willingly, but was abducted by him while picking flowers in the fields of Nysa. Hades ruled the dead, assisted by others over whom he had complete authority. He strictly forbade his subjects to leave his domain and would become quite enraged when anyone tried to leave, or if someone tried to steal the souls from his realm.” (x)

Wherever the fates lead us, let us follow.

Seriously, whose that girl? If she isn’t Ms Morrell’s daughter, biologically related niece or younger sister I’ll eat my hat. A part of me does wonder if alphas can play with perception and memories if she could be Ms Morrell though I think I may be reaching a tad there.

tw characters as characters of greek mythology; jackson whittemore as icarus
“In Greek mythology, Icarus is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus. The main story told about Icarus is his attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. He ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, and the melting wax caused him to fall into the sea where he drowned. Literary interpretation has found in the myth the structure and consequence of personal over-ambition. Icarus is usually taken as a tragic example of hubris or failed ambition.” (x)

tw characters as characters of greek mythology; allison argent as artemis
“Artemis was the Hellenic goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, virginity and protector of young girls, bringing and relieving disease in women; she often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows. The deer and the cypress were sacred to her.” (x)

tw characters as characters of greek mythology; derek hale as achilles
“Achilles was said to be invulnerable in all of his body except for his heel. He is an embodiment of the grief of the people and was also called the “Warrior of Grief”. Homer’s Illiad begins with Achilles’ withdrawal from battle after he is dishonored by Agamemnon, the commander of the Achaean forces. Angry at the dishonor Achilles refused to fight or lead his troops alongside the other Greek forces. Patroclus, a friend of Achilles, led the Myrmidons into battle wearing Achilles’ armor, though Achilles remained at his camp. Patroclus succeeded in pushing the Trojans back from the beaches, but was killed by Hector before he could lead a proper assault on the city of Troy. Enraged over the death of Patroclus, Achilles ended his refusal to fight and took the field killing many men in his rage but always seeking out Hector. (x)

Okay so we all know some things need huge-ass trigger warnings right, which is why we tag things. But we can’t make everyone that reblogs a post tag something, or expect them to remember - everyone slips up on things, even if they’re trying their best.

But a lot of the time it’s impractical attach an actual list of trigger warnings within the body of text, for whatever reason - and even if you do, there runs the risk of someone deleting it.

This way lets you attach full and detailed tags that stick to the post more effectively than tags and are less obvious than putting them in the body of text, so, onward;

Ok so I’m not near the caliber of all you other people in this fandom but this has been rattling around in my brain for a while and the other day I finally figured out how to say this coherently and posting it will help me get it off my chest, so to speak, so maybe one or two will be interested in reading it as well :)

Very mild hinting to spoilers for Season 8.

The King - the piece the whole game revolves around and yet, it is the least powerful piece in terms of ability to move about the board. The Pawn - the least powerful piece on the chess board, but has the potential to become equal to the most powerful - with the right move. The Rook - the watcher and protector. The Knight - it moves by leaps of intuition. You never know what to expect. The Queen - the most powerful piece. Has full freedom of movement in any direction and is the most valuable. The Bishop - the piece that is held back by only being able to move on it’s own color - it can surprise you. (100% inspired by this post)

wow. Great insight.

Gerard Argent: The best way to eliminate a threat is to get someone to do it for you.

Deucalion:  Someone once taught me a very smart way to eliminate a threat. Get someone else to do it for you.

Chris Argent: Have you ever seen a rabid dog? Well I have, and the only thing I have ever been able to compare it to was seeing a friend of mine turn on the full moon…He tried to kill me and I was forced to put a bullet in his head.

What if Papa Argent didn’t actually kill his friend? What if he only blinded him?
